Furman closed Friday, Jan. 25

Because of inclement weather in the area, Furman University closed at 10:20 a.m. Friday, Jan. 25. All remaining classes are cancelled, and all offices will be closed.  Evening classes have also been cancelled.

The Furman Jazz Ensemble concert scheduled for 8 p.m. Friday has been cancelled.  It will be rescheduled for a later date.

The Church Music Conference will continue as scheduled for its Friday sessions.

Saturday “Learning for You” classes at the Herring Center and at Mauldin Cultural Center will run as scheduled on Jan. 26. Students should use their best judgment in determining if and when it is safe to attend. The two Saturday morning classes at the Greenville County Museum of Art will be rescheduled for a later date, but the afternoon class will run as scheduled.
